Elopement Canberra | Winter wedding in Googong

Yesterday, Jessica and Jake had such a beautiful elopement in Googong just outside Canberra.

It has really been hard for them to get to this day. They had planned a wedding, which they had to cancel due to the coronavirus. It was all so unfair. When I saw a message, Jessica posted on a local page I could not help but reach out to them. They were so deserving of a special day! They were so excited about this small yet intimate wedding, Jessica was ecstatic to see Jake after he had been interstate for over 12 weeks for work.  Nothing was going to ruin their day for them this time, not even the coronavirus!

They were married right on the edge of the Googong dam, and the ceremony was officiated by a family friend. They said their vows overlooking the most spectacular views, which was one of Jessica’s prerequisites for her ceremony site. Jessica loves nature and the tranquillity that it brings and whished to incorporate the beautiful mountains into their wedding day.  

They were able to let their love for each other win above all else and prove that NOTHING could stand in their way of becoming husband and wife, and honestly… it was pretty perfect if you ask me! Congratulations, Jessica and Jake!
