Saturday I had the privilege of photographing this breathtaking wedding at Royalla Common in NSW. I am so excited to share the wedding Blog of Lisa and Michael. Their wedding day looked a little different than what they had originally planned, however, it was just as beautiful. These two beautiful souls have gone through so much while planning their dream wedding. But after all, was said and done, I don’t think they would have changed a thing. Michael’s siblings and some of Lisa’s family could not attend due to them being overseas but they captured the day on video to share with all their family far away.
Lisa incorporated so many sentimental details for her wedding day. While getting ready I was told the story of the earrings Lisa would be wearing. Not only would she be wearing it at her wedding, but so did her mom! I love heirloom items like that so much.
Before long it was time for the ceremony to start, and Lisa walked down the aisle on the arm of her dad toward Michael as he waited for her at the altar. In the forest, their family and friends watched as Michael and Lisa became husband and wife. It was so sweet!
After the ceremony, we started with some bridal portrait fun. We were all watching the weather because as luck would have it, a storm was approaching. We got lucky and were able to shoot fast and make the most of the time mother nature allowed us. Their venue was transformed into a beautiful space for the bride and groom to celebrate with their guest. It was intimate, beautiful and so much fun! The love that these two were surrounded by was breathtaking. I wish you all the best with your new adventure as husband and wife, and soon to be parents to little Baby Hammond.
I want to give a special shout out to the bridal party! They just brought so much joy to the day. Thank you to all of them for helping me throughout the day and for making me feel so welcomed.
